DESCRIPTION
The Web File Transfer Portal is a virtual website we instantly setup for you in the location and the country of your choice. This website can be customized by you with your logo, texts and images and it is accessible at the domain you set. You don't have access to HTML code though.
Someone willing to use your service to transfer a list of files will drag and drop them on this website and set a password. The Javascript embedded in upload page will encrypt the files on local computer and then upload them on the server in small bunches. This can dramatically increase the transfer speed. There is no size limit set and we tested the system with 10 files, each of 20GB. Once the upload is complete, a link is generated and can be copy/pasted along with the password in an email to intended recipient. The download page on the local computer of downloader will decrypt the files locally. At no time, us, or anyone intercepting the transfer is able to decrypt them without the password known only by the uploader. The entire encryption and upload/decryption technology is built-in in browser and can be reviewed by using 'View Source' feature.
The service has several mode of operations based on your desired level of privacy and compliance levels. It has an 'Anonymous' mode in which files are exchanged between visitors with no authentication or 'Corporate' and 'One-to-One' in which files can be transferred only between people that are authenticated using IPs or email addresses.
Many other service operation specifics can be modified from the Dashboard, including how long the files are stored, disable end-to-end encryption for specific uploads etc.
