Main responsibilities...

  • Watch screens for alerts generated by multiple internal systems and adhere to stringent protocols to resolve any identified issues
  • Read emails, try to understand the issue, and if needed, redirect them to the proper team
  • Occasionally answering phone calls, taking messages, primarily in English, and transferring calls to the appropriate party when necessary
  • Manage the emergency situations following the existing procedures
  • Prioritizing the tasks based on the urgency

Examples of possible encountered issues..

  • Fiber cuts/degradation on internal or external circuits
  • The customers services or internal equipment are not reachable via ICMP/ssh
  • Packet loss due to a congestion
  • Hardware equipment/components failure
  • Increased latency on an internet route
  • Physical checks of equipment
  • Provide remote access to customers using KVMs
  • Check and resolve any issue with the electrical/cooling systems.

Other tasks you will do...

  • Improve and update the internal procedures
  • Offering technical support for issues that may arise within the company, tailored to the individual's level of access
  • Communicate and escalate issues to hierarchical superior when needed
  • Daily monitoring of the internal notification system and adapting to any changes that may occur.
