Main role

Assist, configure and maintain network equipment software to prevent unplanned downtime and deliver services

Responsibilities

Maintain network equipment software to prevent unplanned downtime

Update the firmware of all types of network equipment, from switches and routers to firewalls, strictly following established procedures
Write and update equipment software configurations to perform the desired tasks, adhering strictly to procedures
Propose changes in procedures on how the team operates
Propose new monitoring parameters
Report any possible anomalies, inconsistencies, or violations of procedures to the team leader

Assist troubleshooting of networking incidents

Respond promptly and thoroughly to colleagues' notifications regarding issues that affect network services
Assist other team members to quickly restore services

Deliver services quickly

Ensure prompt delivery of services by actively monitoring the alert system for updates related to customer "Networking Alerts" and undertaking assigned tasks
Configure network equipment and internal systems to facilitate service delivery

Configure network equipment to deliver services and provide technical support

Respond to customers' technical networking questions via email, phone, video calls, or in person
Prioritize requests according to the customer's Service Level Agreement (SLA)
Contact customers to obtain the necessary information for installing or configuring services
Monitor the alert system "Networking Alerts" and take on assigned tasks
Provide networking-related technical solutions for the sales department
