Voxility is a well-known international telecommunications company that offers a wide range of services and is present in over 20 data centers across Europe, America, and Asia. We are currently seeking to build a new team of first-level technical support.
Your role as a Technical Support Specialist is to use your quick "debug" reaction skills to understand the issues that may be raised by customers or our internal systems and either solve them or redirect them to the correct team. This role does not require expertise in specific technologies because we will provide the necessary training. You will outperform if you are a quick learner and enjoy working with anything related to IT.
The job is on-site, in our offices 200m away from Pipera metro station in Bucharest and it does not include "work from home". Your office will be in our monitoring room which is nearby equipment you may physically need to control. If you plan to relocate in Bucharest, this is a good opportunity because we will cover your initial expenses.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE
- Watch screens for alerts generated by multiple internal systems and adhere to stringent protocols to resolve any identified issues
- Read emails, try to understand the issue, and if needed, redirect them to the proper team
- Occasionally answering phone calls, taking messages, primarily in English, and transferring calls to the appropriate party when necessary
- Manage the emergency situations following the existing procedures
- Prioritizing the tasks based on the urgency.
- Fiber cuts/degradation on internal or external circuits
- The customers services or internal equipment are not reachable via ICMP/ssh
- Packet loss due to a congestion
- Hardware equipment/components failure
- Increased latency on an internet route
- Physical checks of equipment
- Provide remote access to customers using KVMs
- Check and resolve any issue with the electrical/cooling systems.
- Improve and update the internal procedures
- Offering technical support for issues that may arise within the company, tailored to the individual's level of access
- Communicate and escalate issues to hierarchical superior when needed
- Daily monitoring of the internal notification system and adapting to any changes that occur.
- You can easily interact with people
- Show very good IT technical skills and clearly demonstrate a passion for an IT topic that you self-taught (ex: linux, windows customization, install raspberry, design a circuit board etc)
- Show you are able to do multiple things in the same time (multi task)
- Talk to us in English at interview
- Will to work hard enough to spend few nights per month in the office (and be paid double for it!)
- Prove your past resilience in activities you did (sport, school, school competitions, hobbies etc)

- If you have zero work experience in a technical role than you will be paid (net) for each month:
- 5000 RON during probation
- 6300 RON after 3 months
- 6800 RON after 1 year
- 7400 after 18 months
- 8600 after 2 years
- We will count your prior experience and you can benefit from day 1 of the higher amounts
- On top of this you will be paid twice as much for work performed at night
- We will sponsor (and you will be required to pass) CCNA1 in the first 3 months on the job
